Branded Environmental Design
As the MSM design team grew, an expansion into an area of the warehouse called for some
design consideration. I was asked by the owners of the company to come up with a design that
showed off “Creative”, while keeping a diverse group of designers, all accustomed to having
their own offices, happy in a new, open environment. The result was an airy, unique space with
angled ceiling and large skylights, furniture by Herman Miller, and bright versions of MSM’s
corporate colors decorating the walls. In the process of choosing sources and suppliers, I put
together a Design Resource Library, which is still in use and growing 3 years later. The space
became a highlight on building tours, always eliciting a positive reaction.

My responsibilities on this project included:
- 3D Design and art direction
- Furniture, lighting and material sourcing
- Implementation of project from start to finish
- Creation and maintenance of Materials and Research Library
